Weckerly's Ice Cream

Weckerly's Ice Cream is Philadelphia’s beloved micro-creamery known for its handcrafted, honest-to-goodness scoops and iconic ice cream sandwiches. Assuming new ownership in January 2024, Weckerly's is on an exciting journey of upward growth by offering expanded and more innovative flavor offerings, increased wholesale distribution, and opening more locations. The goal has been for increased media attention and community engagement.

National Ice Cream Day

To beat the heat in the summer, Weckerly's celebrate National Ice Cream day with broadcast segments with PHL17 and NBC10. Both opportunities showcased the Weckerly's product while providing visibility ot the owner.

Weckerly's Expands to King of Prussia Mall

Weckerly's not only expanded with a second location, but also expanded to a new community - the suburbs. Opening it's second location in the King of Prussia Mall, the goal was to create buzz about the expansion not only in local Philadelphia publications but also extending to the suburban publications for increased awareness. Pitching efforts resulted in secured placements in Philadelphia Business Journal, Philly Voice, PHL17, MyChesCo, MONTCO.Today, VISTA.Today, Philadelphia.Today

Halloween at Weckerly's

For Halloween, Bob Kelly of Fox29 visited the Weckerly's Northeast Philadelphia production for a behind-the-scenes look of how Weckerly's makes all their products while highlighting their seasonal flavors.

Celebrating the Eagles
in The Super Bowl

Weckerly's made a special collaboration ice cream sandwich with the infamous Termini Brothers cannolis in honor of the Philadelphia Eagles competing in the Super Bowl, as well as two special scoop and pint flavors. NBC10 featured the sandwich and pints to close out their

Philly Live segment Friday morning.
